Joan Gamper Trophy 2010
This was really nice game to watch, especially second half and penalties. But let's start from the beggining...
Before game all players entered the pitch for warm up, and when Ronaldinho appeared he recieved massive applause
Before kick off Ronaldinho was rewarded with a homage to him as both teams lined up while he remained in the tunnel and when the crowd fell silent he entered and a huge roar went up to welcome him back. The Milan number 80 watched before leaving the tunnel as a montage of his best moments for Barça was played on the giant videoscreens at either end of the ground.
The message at the end of the video read 'Thank you for everything Ronaldinho' and it was the sentiment that everyone inside Camp Nou was feeling.
After greeting the FC Barcelona players Ronaldinho was invited to have his photo taken with the Blaugrana starting team by club captain Carles Puyol.
Some cool photos

First half of game wasn't spectacular, this action was very nice but it was offside.
Second half was extremly interesting. David Villa scored his first goal for Barca
But game ended with penalty shootout...
...and Barca won and that means The Gamper stays at home! Great job by Pinto and our players Messi, Bojan and Thiago all scored for Barça while Sergio Busquets missed.
And few really nice pictures

Video from celebrations
And after game Ronaldinho was wearing blaugrana jersey (Puyol's one) and met with Sandro Rosel and club officials.

Wonderful Wednesday
What a day! There was soo many greats moments today, busy day for club and team, and all fans, I will try to sum up it a little bit:)
Very important event was Congreso de Peñas (Supporters' Clubs Congress) 2010. Sandro Rosell was present too. During his speech to the supporters' clubs congress president Sandro Rosell asked for a round of applause in honour of the club's coaches and players after winning the Spanish Super Cup and for the 1,547 supporters who were present. The Blaugrana president began his address by explaining that would speak in Spanish to allow fans outside of Catalunya to follow. "Catalunya is a respectful place and that is why I will talk in a language that practically everyone can understand," he said. (More you can read here)

At the same meeting David Villa and Adriano Correia were taken aback by the incredible reception that they were given at the Congreso de Peñas. Celebrating their 50th year the members were enjoying the event when the two new arrivals this summer paid a surprise visit and were met with a rapturous welcome at the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona. Accompanied the Head of External Relations at Barça both Villa and Adriano turned up along with the Spanish Super Cup trophy.

“Thanks for all your support,” Villa told the congress. “It is another example of why this club is so I want to thank everyone for the reception. I have only been here a short while, but I have been shown great affection and I promise that I will do all I can to pay you all back.”

Adriano also spoke to the fans. “It is a pleasure to come here and meet so many people who are devoted to Barça and to receive such a great welcome,” he stated. “When you join a club as big as Barça you really do notice it. We are delighted to see everyone and we hope to have a history-making season. We have started well and won the Spanish Super Cup. Like Villa I will give everything for these colours.”

There was also Supporters' Club Tournament at Camp Nou

Another important point in agenda was tribute to Gamper.President Sandro Rosell was joined by other board members as he offered made the traditional floral tribute to FC Barcelona’s founder Joan Gamper.

FCBarcelona’s Camp Nou was the scene of a party before the Trofeo Joan Gamper Estrella Damm game against AC Milan on Wednesday as both adults and children joined in the fun. The new mint green away shirt proved to be highly popular among fans arriving for the game with thousands donning the Nike shirt.

Really nice part of the day was offficial team presentation. Than Carles Puyol welcomed everybody, including "new arrivals" aka new board of club, president and new team members. After Pep Guardiola welcomed everyone at Camp Nou and said few words. Than was time of celebration! Yes, celebration of Lliga 2009-2010, team recieved trophy and made honuor lap with all staff and coaches. It was special because ex-president Jan Laporta participated in it. You can watch team presentation and Lliga celebration here:

Before Gamper and more
Great game ahead! Gamper trophy is here!

The Joan Gamper Trophy (Catalan: Trofeu Joan Gamper) is an annual friendly football competition hosted by FC Barcelona and is named in honour of Joan Gamper, a founding member, player, and later president of the club. The competition was inaugurated in 1966 by Enric Llaudet, one of Gamper's. The trophy itself is an 800 grams silver cup with five micrometres of gold finishing, on-top of a 10 kilograms marble plinth base!
Barcelona won it 33 times in history! Milan participated twice but never won.
If you want to read more about Gamper, I found great article here (click), and there is also story at official website (click here)
Tomorrow will be also team presentation! So I think it will be great fiesta at Camp Nou. You can watch whole event on TV3(Catalan tv-click for more information), game will start at 7.45 PM, but TV podcast will start at 6.40 PM.
Just for fun I want to share with you:
1. This video is really fun, I wrote about this meeting with press, but I think this particular moment deserves sharing it with you, so please enjoy: Pep talking what he thinks about Pique
2. Video from morning training session which took place on Tuesday

Valdés, Guardiola, Ronaldinho and videos
Yesterday after trainig session Victor Valdés spoke with press. "We can’t allow ourselves to lose the taste for winning. We like to take things one step at a time. That’s the secret of our team. We can’t just accept what we’ve achieved nor look backwards” said our goalkeeper. If you want to read more click here.
And two photos from this press conference:

Today our players trained in the morning. Twenty two first team players and five Barca B youngsters (Oier, Miño, Fontàs, Thiago and Jonathan Dos Santo) trained under Guardiola in the second session of the week. Diego Simeone was again watching the session at which the players used the official ball of the new league season.

After training Pep Guaridiola held press conference. Coach answered questions about players, situtation in team, feelings before Gamper' game, Ronaldionho comeback to Camp Nou, new signings, Zlatan situation and so (more here)

And here is something very special, our ex-blaugrana player, Ronaldinho will play at Camp Nou with his team AC Milan. Players, coaches and Barca officials underline value of this player to the club. Ronaldinho wrote open letter. This message is meant for all the members, fans, board members, staff, players and friends at FC Barcelona.
"As you all know, I don't normally talk in public a lot and I'm not one for big farewells, but I would like to take advantage of this occasion to thank you all for everything we shared together during the five years I defended the Barca shirt. They were certainly the best years of my life, both professionally and personally. I honestly think we enjoyed so much whilst we were together.
I don't like farewells and I prefer to think this will be a chance to meet with old friends and renew friendships and relationships we had in the past.
Coming back to the Nou Camp is very special for me. This will always be one of my favourite stadiums and one where I enjoyed myself so much and hopefully helped the Barca fans to enjoy themselves too.
A sincere hug to all the Barca family and especially to Sandro Rosell.
Ronaldinho."

And here is great photo too
