Tuesday&Wednesday with FCB

A lot to share! Two days and many news, don't know where to start:P Let's start with training:

FC Barcelona trained on Tuesday morning without the majority of the squad as the forthcoming international games take precedence. Only four first-team players were available to work along with ten youth teamers. No less than 13 stars are away on international duty, with Adriano among them despite him being injured. That has left just José Manuel Pinto, Seydou Keita, Éric Abidal, Maxwell, Xavi and Pedro.

With Xavi and Pedro unavailable as they continue to return from knocks, the rest of the players took to pitch number seven at the training complex and joined in with the Barça B starlets Masip, Sergi Gómez, Oriol Romeu, Carles Planas, Víctor Vázquez, Ilie, Tello, Edu Oriol, Martí Riverola and Rubén Rochina. After the warm-ups the players enjoyed a physical circuit that was designed by coach Paco Seirul·lo.

Photos? For sure!

Andreu Fontàs
has been called into the Spain Under-21 squad for the European Championship Play-Off after Javi Martínez withdrew though injury. He joins fellow Blaugrana youngsters Bojan Krkic, Jeffren Suárez, Thiago and Miño in the squad.

After training session Abidal answered questions from media during press conference:

Éric Abidal admitted that the squad is “angry” with the draw against Mallorca and the Frenchman reckoned “we had plenty of chances to kill the game off. We are a bit out of luck”, compared to other seasons. (read more here)

Villa: "We create more chances than anyone" “We have not converted as many as we should and this has cost us. But it is not that we have not created them, it is just that we have not taken advantage of them.” (more here)

Dani Alves and Bojan Krkic
are the only FC Barcelona players that have appeared in every game to date, six in the League, two in the Champions League and two in the Spanish Super Cup.

Right now big news are about Barca-Lakers game and all events conected with it:

Los Angeles Lakers legend James A. Worthy visited the Barça Museum on Tuesday and presented a shirt signed by current NBA star Pau Gasol. After dropping the shirt off at the Museum Worthy was keen to see the Camp Nou and he stepped out into the stands and looked at the arena and the pitch.

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant has revealed that he enjoys following the fortunes of FC Barcelona's football team as he arrived in the Ciutat Contal ahead of the basketball game against the Catalan club.

Well, to tell you the truth it's not a surprise. Watch this video and you'll understand:P

The NBA champions landed in the Ciutat Contal after playing the first game of their European pre-season tour in London and immediately declared that they were in town to win. In front of the media throng the Lakers’ head coach Phil Jackson explained that he felt the encounter with the Barça would be a great one. “We intend to move the ball around very quickly,” he explained. “We want to find our match rhythm and look to use the sides.”

Pau Gasol and LA Lakers mania came to Barcelona on Tuesday as almost 7,000 basketball fans packed into the Palau to see the NBA side put through their paces at a training session. Nine years after leaving the Blaugrana Gasol is back again and ready to take on Regal Barça on Thursday at 20:30. A huge number of supporters turned up to ensure that they could pay homage to their former hero as he continued with his pre-season preparations as part of the Lakers' tour of Europe.

Pupils from the YMCA and La Salle Gràcia school have taken part in a session run by Lakers and Barça veterans. The children shared the court with Gasol, Bryant, Epi, Solozábal and others.

Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant against Juan Carlos Navarro and Ricky Rubio. Both teams have some great stars for us to enjoy on Thursday in the Palau Sant Jordi. But they have already met in the street. This happened in Carrer Valdonzella, in the Raval district of Barcelona. The Nike company and the House of Hoops store brought together the stars of Los Angeles Lakers and Regal FC Barcelona.

Cominmg back to football, our boys are with national teams.

And more about changing pitch at Camp Nou, I mean more photos:P, there is no grass at pitch!
