The Barça squad returned to training on Monday morning to prepare the Joan Gamper match against AC Milan on Wednesday and the league debut against Racing Santander next Sunday. The session was restricted to the 22 players of the senior squad (no players from the reserve squad as on Sunday the reserves took on Girona and so were given Monday off). Today’s session had a distinguished spectator in the person former Argentina, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid star Diego Simeone. Last season he managed Argentine club San Lorenzo de Almagro and this morning spent some time talking with fellow countryman Milito.
