Some news from last few days:
club’s under-15 team won the Manchester United Premier Cup 2010. The teenagers, who are honing their talent at the club’s distinguished academy, beat Mexican side Pachuca FC 3-1. With this victory, FC Barcelona has now won the tournament three times, with earlier success coming in 1999 and 2007.
On Monday there was one year since a tragedy struck the footballing world, RCD Espanyol’s captain Daniel Jarque passed away from a heart attack during his team’s preseason games in Italy. It's always sad when someone pass away, especially someone young, first thing that comes to my mind is Dani Jarque's daughter Martina who was born, during the game Espanyol vs. Malaga (click to read more), I also thought about Andres Iniesta, his goal, and especially about this blog entry he posted last year (click to read) I can only repeat after Andres "Wherever you are, I know you are going to take care always of your relatives, of your family and that you will cheer up strongly to your team. Farewell my friend!"
Newspaper Sport reported that a Belgian couple, Wesley Beeckman and Anneke Maes, decided to name their newly born child Barça. (read more here)
