Back to training

I forgot to write that Lionel Messi yesterday celebrated five years since he put pen-to-paper on his first professional contract with FC Barcelona. On September 16, 2005 the Argentinian inked the deal that would keep him at Camp Nou until 2014, and includes a buy-out clause of €150 million, after he had shone in the Trofeo Gamper game and had impressed for the Argentina Under-20 side.

As you probably know Lionel Messi joined FC Barcelona in September 2000 aged 13 after undergoing two weeks of tests. Despite his size he convinced the coaches at the Catalan club that he had the ability to become a star and has repaid the club’s faith in him.

On Friday players returned to trainings. Yay! You know what that means? Photos!
Gerard Piqué, Andrés Iniesta and Pedro were among the 18 participants as the trio missed out on Wednesday as they recovered from the Champions League outing. Martí Riverola and Rubén Rochina were called up from the B team. Jeffren Suárez continued with his personalised recovery programme as he waits to be given the all clear by the medical team. Our boys played game at Pitch number 2 as rain began to pour down and freshened things up.

Here is short video about training and preparation before game, it's funny how Guardiola runs and encourage players to train well!

And now my favourite part- photos:)

Bojan Krkic completed three years as a first-team player on Thursday and admitted that he has enjoyed his experience so far at the highest level.

On official club's website you can read intresting interview with Andoni Zubizarreta (click to read full version)

Do you want to see David Villa singing? Well here is video from record studio, David sings with Ana Torroja:) It's special song for charity purposes. David participates in "Voces x 1 fin: Juntos por Mali" actions which main aim is to rise money to build school in Mali

I wrote some days ago about new commercial with Guardiola, intresting fact is that all money that Pep earned acting in this commercial he donated to charity! Here is whole ad:

Adriano changed his twitter picture:

and twitted in Portuguese;
"Hola guys, rainy day today in barcelona. This city is great!"
and than in Spanish
"Thank you very much for all the messages here and as always hugs to all"

And from Andres' blog:
"
Hello everybody,

It returned to Camp Nou the magic of the Champions and I believe that we would not be able to have started better the competition than with the match that we have done. We have achieved a great victory playing to a great level. Although we have fitted a goal first, we have not put us nervous and we have continued being faithful to our style, have arrived in the end goals and we have summed the first three points of this competition so special.

Now to get ready for the started from on Sunday in the Calderón.
Thank you very much to all for your support."
