Eric Abidal returned to Barcelona
After World Cup in which Eric represented France, player returned to club and teammates. He is the first of the World Cup contingent to report back to the Club for his medical examination and to start training. He had the standard medical examinations such as an echocardiogram, an electrocardiogram, weight and bmi tests. As offical website reports 'after a comprehensive range of medical tests in the morning he will also take part in his first training session, which is scheduled for 7 pm this evening.' (so I hope we will get funny pictures from evening session)
