Our World Cup winners are back!

Great news today! I'm really glad to informe you that our wonderful boys are with us again. After so many days without them it's pure pleasure to see them in Barcelona. The seven Spanish internationals are back from Mexico and on Thursday evening took part in their first training session.
Short video here:

For David Villa, it was his first training session as a Barça player, almost three months after moving from Valencia. Villa also spoke with press and told that “The holiday has been good but when you start something new you want to get going as soon as possible”. After long travel from Mexico he said “I expected the first training session to be held in different circumstances. We’re a bit tired by the journey but I’m keen to get started”.

David Villa also explained why he took no part in the friendly against Mexico: “I had a bad night and woke up with a headache. I didn’t say anything to the coach but the doctors knew and I suppose that [Vicente Del Bosque] decided not to use me for that reason”.

The eight Spanish internationals posed for a photo before the session got underway – eight Barça stars who reached heaven in Johannesburg.

Important news:

- 32 players took part in the session – 18 from the first team and 14 from the reserves,
- Bojan and Jeffren are still absent with Spain under-21s,
- Alexander Hleb had flight problems and did not arrive back in time,
- Pinto exercised in the gym due to the muscle injury he picked up in training on Wednesday.
- Fellow keeper Oier is still recovering from bruising to his right ankle
- Barça B goalkeeper Jordi Masip was added to the group that trained on Wednesday

I thinks that such photos don't need any comment:) Enjoy!
