Pinto injured!

Official website reports that Jose Manuel Pinto will not play against Sevilla on Saturday. The goalkeeper has noticed some pain during the final stages of training on Wednesday afternoon and didn't finish training session.

Doctor of the club who carried medical examination in the evening confirmed that the player has a a muscle injury which will definitely rule him out of Saturday’s game. In addition, another of the goalkeepers, Oier Olazábal, also did not take part in the day’s training session due to some problems.

We must remember that Pinto played a lot during the three preseason games played. The Andalusian had played 45 minutes against Vålerenga I. F., the K-League and the whole game against the Chinese Guoan. Valdes will join the the team on Thursday. It now looks likely that the starting goalkeeper will be Rubén Miño, with perhaps Víctor Valdés, who played the second half of the friendly against Mexico, on the bench.
