Iniesta: interview to Barca TV

Here is very nice video, Andres talks aobut his experiences from World Cup, celebrations and new season. The interview was recorded in his bodega.

Quick (not good one) translation:P

In the final part of his holiday Andres Iniesta recieved great tribute. The people adore him. Player from Fuentealbilla is now at home with his family and he takes care of wine business. He has vineyards and newly constructed winery, this year first bottles of wine will be produced. (You can read more here- click)

Like the rest of the Spanish internationals, Andres will be back to work on the 9th of August (it will be after almost 3 months away from club, due to World Cup preparation and tournament itself)

Our midfielder stay in his pueblo and tries to relax before returning to work ... although it's not easy. Every corner in town reminds everyone about Hero Iniesta, there are banners of gratitude, crowds of visitors (or maybe pilgrimages is better word) taking pictures of Andres' house, which is located in center of the town. It's all because of two goals, two epic golas in history. Andres said "I experienced the greatest joy, I felt that I reached the highest level. It's very special to me, very beautiful to see so many people coming to meet you and show their love to you. I feel proud."

Despite the distance our player is close to Barca, "I watched game with Vålerenga and will watch two games of the Asian tour."

Andres also said some words about David Villa and Cesc Fabregas, and also young players in preseason.

"Last season was difficult and, at certain moments, it was hard. I don't like too much thinking" So when he took the microphone in the middle of the Camp Nou during the La Liga celebration his voice trembled:"thanks to you, I've been able to overcome very complicated moments" he said. "The fans always showed me a lot of love and support and I try to improve every game so they can celebrate."

And more videos, about celebrations in Fuentealbilla and Albacete

I really like this one, Andres looks soo happy:

  1. I just LOVE him, he's so quiet and calm, so refreshing!

P.S. a little tip, if you go to Barcelona's website in English, you'll actually find the videos with a commentary .. This commentary basically translates what the player is saying. It will save you some time, instead of translating the videos yourself.

  2. Thank you for comment, I know that on English website there are translation, only problem is that English version of articles are published few hours after Catalan one, you can chcek that my post was written at 12:28 AM and on official FCB website this news was at 17:59 (5:59 PM) so more that 5 hours later, sometimes news are only published on Catalan website (good example is news about Bojan Krkic who won Barca Veterans Award 2010)

That's why I try to translate some news;)
